This role involves maintaining the district's investment portfolio, supervising the management of all funds, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The CFO will also be involved in the preparation and coordination of annual financial audits, as well as overseeing the business office budget, and leading the budgeting process. Candidates for the Chief Financial Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related field, with a preference for those with experience in school finance. A minimum of 2 years' experience in school finance or district business administration, along with 2 years of supervisory experience in finance or accounting, is required. The role demands a professional with a strong background in financial management, including the ability to develop and implement long-range and short-term business objectives. The CFO will also be responsible for personnel management, policy implementation, and ensuring the district's financial operations are in line with federal and state laws. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial leadership, be adept at problem-solving, and have the ability to work effectively under pressure.
