About the Opportunity
The Supply Chain Leader of Distribution Operations will demonstrate accountability for the functional business objectives. You will integrate and develop new processes that meet business needs across the Distribution Operations function. This position is responsible for developing and executing a go to market strategy utilizing the breadth of products we offer for process systems including compressed air, vacuum, process cooling, controls and our full range of services.

About the Opportunity
The Supply Chain Leader of Distribution Operations will demonstrate accountability for the functional business objectives. You will integrate and develop new processes that meet business needs across the Distribution Operations function. This position is responsible for developing and executing a go to market strategy utilizing the breadth of products we offer for process systems including compressed air, vacuum, process cooling, controls and our full range of services.
As the Supply Chain Leader of Distribution Operations, you will:
- Lead and manage all procurement and materials management activities including order placement, supplier evaluation/certification/reduction, price negotiation, and compliance activities
- Ensure all sites material management policies are consistent with the inventory control objectives of the business
- Facilitate corporate purchasing and materials initiatives including common part numbers, supplier managed inventory, consolidated purchasing agreements, supplier management and certifications
- Identify and establish alternate distribution networks (resellers) and products which can increase our equipment sales and service footprint
- Support internal or external audit requirements related to supply chain/inventory scope
- Provide inventory and revenue forecasts monthly to the Vice President of Distribution Operations
- Assist in determining stock equipment inventory levels to ensure we meet monthly book and turn goals
- Develop and maintain relationships with ELGi business leads, customers, resellers, and OEM product leaders
- Develop and implement lean continuous improvement plans that drive high sales volume
- Create an environment of teamwork and synergy between businesses and internal/external stakeholders
- Benchmark world class supply management systems and implement best practices leveraging robust KPIs to drive continuous improvement
- Ability to assess and develop individual/team skills and capabilities while serving as a role model by promoting new ideas and positive change
About You
The Supply Chain Leader of Distribution Operations opportunity may be a match if you meet the following required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline with six or more years of progressive experience within the specified area
- High level of motivation; ability to complete tasks and projects without direct supervision
- Demonstrated ability to perform the described role, responsibilities and drive desired results
- Excellent knowledge of company offerings, services, policies, rules, regulations, and processes
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple large scale change management initiatives
- Demonstrated teamwork/team building skills that produce results and meet company objectives
- Advanced understanding of financial concepts such as return on investment, cost of goods sold, profitability, credit worthiness, days sales outstanding, and related concepts
- Advanced computer skills
- Advanced CRM software skills (Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Valid driver's license
