Responsibilities You will provide logistics oversight and Life Cycle Management for technical issues regarding the twelve IPS elements. You will provide leadership, oversight and guidance on all logistics aspects of assigned projects/programs. You will provide oversight to contractor team members conducting product support efforts. You will develop logistics acquisition documentation, provide input to other acquisition documentation, and determine the acceptability of contractor prepared logistics deliverables. You will interpret configuration management activities and tools; working with the configuration manager for projects; suggesting alternative revisions and assisting in implementation of new strategies. You will provide support in the digital transformation of Integrated Product Support elements and deliverables through the utilization of Digital Engineering principles. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade GS-12 level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing acquisition documents such as the Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, Fielding Plans, Performance Work Statements; applying Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements to manage product support for communications, IT and/or defense business system programs. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
