Responsibilities Assists the Command ISSM/ISSO in ensuring that the Command security posture is implemented and maintained for command information systems and programs. Under supervision developing and maintaining a command cybersecurity program (i.e. cybersecurity architecture, requirements, objectives and policies, cybersecurity personnel, and cybersecurity processes and procedures). Assists with coordinating a variety of security issues with other commands, higher echelons, and external organizations to address cybersecurity requirements. Assist in the Evaluating the impact of new laws and guidance on current programs and systems and recommending changes to existing plans and policies to insure compliance and responsiveness. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting with reviewing IT and control systems programs to assess overall compliance with cybersecurity plans and policies; 2) Ensuring all cybersecurity components have completed the appropriate evaluation and configuration processes prior to integration or connection to an IS or PIT system in accordance with guidance; 3) Assisting in applying information system security measures and procedures; and 4) Complying with all information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices. Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:1.
