Responsibilities You will be required to serve as a Product Owner to plan and deliver a full range of requirements, development, and customer support services to meet application development needs. You will explore ways to upgrade or enhance the level of services provided. You will consult with experts in other specialty areas to develop integrated action plans, implement changes in response to changes in customer requirements and resolve issues related to the delivery of services. You will support a full range of customer services to include planning and participate in the implementation of new systems; e.g. Upgrade to a new operating system, protocols or other IT equipment utilized by customer organization. You will develop service level agreements (SLAs) that define requirements and expectations for the delivery of customer support services. You will develop and implement performance criteria ensuring achievement of all requirements. You will develop performance metrics as a requirement for application development which will aide in the evaluation of the efficiency and effectiveness of the system. You will keep abreast on all changes in customer mission requirements by constant interaction with management in customer organization; and initiate service modifications to meet changing requirements. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or NO-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: expert knowledge of the interrelationships among different IT disciplines including emerging technologies and their applications to business processes AND advanced knowledge of converting functional and behavioral expectations into technical terms with performance requirements. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
