Position Details: * Start Date: ASAP * End Date: Ongoing * Shift Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only * Practice Setting: Outpatient only (Inpatient not required) * Patients per Shift: 14-16 patients daily * Support Staff: Includes 5 Medical Assistants and 1 PA/NP * EMR System: EPIC Required Skills: * Procedures: * Upper GI endoscopy (with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, varices injection) * ERCP (diagnostic and therapeutic) * Colonoscopy (with biopsy and excision of polyps) * Sigmoidoscopy (flexible and rigid) * Esophageal dilatation/manometry * Small bowel biopsy * Liver biopsy * Insertion/management of Sengstaken-Blakemore tube Key Responsibilities: * Manage and treat a variety of liver and gastrointestinal cases, including more complex patients. * Conduct in-clinic procedures such as Pill Cam interpretation, PEG tube exchange, Hemoccult tests, and Lidocaine injections. * Engage in routine clinic responsibilities like pathology reviews, new patient referrals, and addressing PA questions (direct supervision not required). Certifications & Licensing: * Required Certifications: Board Certified in Gastroenterology, ACLS, BLS * License: Must be licensed in Washington State or have an active Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) license.
