Apply today, and lead an ambitious and experienced team in a busy, cutting edge surgery center.As patient and procedure volume continues to grow, this busy Ambulatory Surgery Center has steadily increased its staff, surgeons, and procedure types to grow with it. The Director of Nursing (DON) will oversee clinical operations, staffing, and education in a stable, multi-specialty surgical center with 4 fully equipped and state-of-the-art operating suites and 12 PACU beds. Conducting over 200 procedures per month, this center keeps its beds full.The Nursing Director of this ASC will be supported by an experienced staff made up of an RN Operating Room Supervisor and a PACU supervisor, 6 CNOR Certified OR and PACU RNs, Operating Room Techs, and other support staff. Working in collaboration with the Medical Director and the ASC Administrator, the DON will lead all quality improvement, education coordination, and accreditation activities for the Ambulatory Surgery Center. The right Director of Nursing will lead by example, guiding staff from assessment and implementation of patient care plans, through surgical procedures, all the way to post anesthesia care, discharge, and follow-up. .The San Francisco Bay Area is well known to have something for everyone.
