About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance to join their team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing and implementing fiscal management and reporting strategies. This includes overseeing a wide range of accounting and financial operations, providing leadership to the finance departments, and managing a small team. The role also involves being a strategic partner to the US President and General Manager, preparing and analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations, particularly those related to US government contracting. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, at least 5 years' of financial management experience in a fast-paced aviation and defense business environment, and a strong background in areas such as cost accounting, project costing, and financial planning. Applicants for the Vice President of Finance position at the company should be experienced, dedicated, and able to work effectively in a dynamic, high-pressure setting. A Master's degree is preferred, as is a CPA designation. The role requires the ability to work without direct supervision, manage tasks across multiple time zones, and ensure the team meets all deadlines. Experience with US government contracting, including standards such as FAR, DFAR, and DCAA, is highly valued. The candidate should also be adept at financial analysis, have a background in M&A finance, and be familiar with ERP systems. The position demands a professional with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
