Are you a recent law school graduate looking to work with experienced attorneys and paralegals who will give you opportunities to further your legal career? If so, we are looking for you! HHMR has a full-time associate attorney position available now. We are looking for someone with 0-4 years of experience. Litigation experience is preferred and an interest in learning and practicing construction defect litigation is a requirement. You will be mentored by, and learn from, experienced partners and senior associates. You will be an integral member of the team, with substantive case-handling responsibilities and significant opportunities for development of your legal skills. Must already be licensed in Colorado. Responsibilities: • Work alongside senior attorneys to litigate cases from start to finish. • Communicate with clients and their insurers. • Draft motions, conduct legal research, attend court appearances and settlement conferences, take depositions, and attend trial, as your experience level allows. Qualifications: • Graduation from an accredited law school with a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and licensed to practice law in Colorado. • Prior experience working in a civil litigation law firm preferred. • Prior experience in construction defect or general casualty law preferred; an interest in those areas of law is required. • Well-versed in legal research software (Westlaw). • Able to work as part of a team, and independently when appropriate, while handling multiple files. • Excellent communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills are required. • Microsoft Office proficiency is required. • A high level of pride in your work. Compensation: $80,000+ yearly DOE
