Title: Attorney - Labor and Employment Law You will independently manage a diverse caseload that includes providing legal counsel on federal and state wage/hour issues, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation cases. You will handle litigation across state/federal courts, administrative bodies, and arbitral forums. Responsibilities: Duties included but not limited to: - Manage cases involving wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation under New York and New Jersey laws. - Litigate individual, collective, and class action cases from inception to trial. - Conduct thorough legal research and investigations. - Draft complaints, letters, motions, oppositions, settlement agreements, discovery, and other legal documents. - Court Appearances: - Argue motions and manage discovery conferences. - Negotiate settlements and prepare for trial as needed. - Conduct client intake and maintain positive client relationships. - Prepare clients for depositions and defend them during proceedings. - Take and defend depositions. Requirements: - Admitted to practice law in New York - Minimum of 3 years of experience in Employment Law. - Proficiency in federal and state litigation procedures. - Strong research, writing, interviewing, and investigation skills with attention to detail. - Strong client management and negotiation skills. - Full benefits package and long term growth opportunities!!!
