About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer and Vice President to provide strategic leadership in the development and execution of the Foundation's strategic plan. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the operational planning process, aligning resources with strategic priorities, and fostering a high-performance work culture. This role also involves engaging with the Board of Directors, University Leadership, and key stakeholders to ensure the Foundation's mission and activities are well-supported and that strong relationships are maintained. Financial leadership is a key aspect of the position, including managing the Foundation's finances, overseeing the annual budget, and ensuring financial reporting and forecasting meet the needs of all stakeholders. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, a minimum of 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership, and a thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. The role requires a mission-driven individual with a proven ability to lead high-performing teams, make sound decisions, and foster a positive organizational culture. Preferred qualifications include a CPA or MBA and experience with non-profit financial systems. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with a strong focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
