We are seeking a driven and results-oriented individual to join our team. This individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining inspection and service work relationships with regional and national account customers. Work closely with Director of National Accounts to ensure that pricing and the type of work proposed to customer can be executed profitability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to generate recurring monthly revenue streams through the sale of fire safety services, including fire alarm systems, fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, fire sprinkler systems, and related maintenance contracts.
  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline to deliver $750K of incremental inspection contract revenue per year.
  • Add a minimum of 4 new national accounts each year.
  • Develop and expand service relationships with inspection-only vendors and/or building service brokers to deliver additional service revenue opportunities to Fortis National Account Team.
  • Generate a monthly report with actual sales results, new bookings, and opportunity pipeline, through use of CRM.
  • Work with Branch Sales Representatives to develop a list of leads of potential national account customers based on our existing footprint.
  • Ensure the proper booking of contracts in our systems.
  • Staying abreast of market opportunities through sales calls, networking, and other market related information.
  • At regular intervals, but at least two (2) times a year, work directly with the Director of National Account Sales to assess customer relationship profitability.
  • At least once per quarter, present a national account sales strategy (Lunch and Learns) to the local branch offices to help drive local sales.
  • Utilize various prospecting techniques, including cold calling, email outreach, networking, and referrals, to identify and qualify potential clients interested in fire safety services.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments and consultative selling processes to understand clients' fire safety requirements and recommend tailored solutions to meet their needs effectively.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive proposals and quotes outlining the benefits, features, and pricing of our fire safety services, ensuring alignment with clients' needs and budgetary considerations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly, and proactively identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional fire safety services.
  • Manage sales pipelines effectively by tracking leads, opportunities, and sales activities in CRM software, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate forecasting of recurring monthly revenue.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including customer support, technical services, and finance, to ensure seamless delivery of fire safety services and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and regulatory requirements related to fire safety services, providing insights and recommendations to enhance our offerings and competitive positioning.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for recurring monthly revenue, demonstrating consistent performance and contribution to the company's growth objectives.

Required Qualifications
  • BA, BS, or 5 years building services/ Life safety sales and/or relevant industry experience.
  • Proven track record of success in Commercial Service Sales (B2B) in the fire safety industry.
  • Proficient in the use of computers and mobile devices
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Organized, motivated, and able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Fire Alarm, Fire Sprinkler, Fire Extinguisher, Fire Suppression system Inspection and Testing Frequencies and Requirements
  • Able to recognize and be familiar with various types of systems at a customer site.
  • Strong understanding of fire safety regulations, codes, and standards
  • Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and collaborate with internal and external parties.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Sound working knowledge of personal computers, customer portals, databases, word processing and spreadsheet programs.

Compensation - Competitive based on experience

While performing the duties of this job, the Team member is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The Team member is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The Team member is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and climb stairs, or balance. The Team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
