You are a skilled Human Resources Manager who takes charge of all employee-related matters. You thrive on helping employees and managers reach their goals, creating positive work experiences, being a trusted advisor and fostering a culture of cooperative work across the organization. Your typical day will include the recruitment and retention of talented individuals to facilitate growth, identifying training resources, providing management with training and leadership support, develop and implement company policies as it relates to the law and increase employee performance and engagement.

Your typical day will include the recruitment and retention of talented individuals to facilitate growth, identifying training resources, providing management with training and leadership support, develop and implement company policies as it relates to the law and increase employee performance and engagement.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Manage recruiting efforts, selection process and extending candidate offers.
- Strategize with management on the development, engagement, motivation, and retention of human capital
- Identify and arrange training resources for staff members
- Ensure a smooth onboarding process with clear expectations for newly hired employees
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or concerns
- Launch and manage employee appraisal process to drive high performance
- Collaborate with managers to coach on performance improvement, disciplinary measures and terminations
- Develop, update, and recommend employment policies and procedures; maintain Employee Handbook
- Manage employee files and data within HRIS platform
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with external business partners
- Backup other HR team members and additional duties as assigned
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Proven work experience in Human Resources roles with a minimum 5 years of experience; executive level participation is preferred
- Achievement of a Human Resource accreditation (HRCI, SHRM, or similiar)
- Handle employee and company matters with a high degree of confidentiality, respect and discretion
- In-depth knowledge of state and federal laws and HR practices
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills with an ethical mindset
- Experience using HRIS platforms for management of employee data
- Comfortable leading and creating basic presentations
- Excellent active listening and negotiation skills
- Adapts easily to changing schedules and priorities
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
