Early-stage venture capital firm is looking for an Office Manager to support their San Francisco office and team. This is a great opportunity to join a well-known firm known for backing some of the biggest names in Silicon Valley. You will provide high-touch office manager support including reception duties, sorting and receiving mail, managing office supplies and food services, and welcoming guests into the space. Someone who is service-oriented, has excellent organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a proactive, can-do attitude. This is an in-office role based in downtown San Francisco, hours are from 10am-6pm. 80-85K DOE + discretionary bonus, fully paid benefits including for dependents, 401k with matching, and lunch provided!

- Serve as the first point of contact, providing reliable and professional reception support.
- Greet employees and visitors promptly, ensuring a positive and efficient experience.
- Answer and screen incoming calls, directing them appropriately or handling inquiries as needed.
- Sort and distribute daily mail and packages.
- Maintain effective communication with internal teams and external service providers, ensuring smooth coordination of office functions.
- Organize and coordinate meetings and events, working with hosts to confirm all details and requirements in advance.
- Arrange daily meal orders for staff and guests.
- Oversee the inventory and ordering of office supplies and snacks, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
- Process monthly expenses related to office supplies and food services.
- Address special requests or issues, providing timely and appropriate solutions.
- Assist with additional projects or office tasks as required.
- Monitor and follow up on building and facility-related issues.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Prior experience in reception or a related field is a plus.
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills.
- Dedication to understanding and anticipating the needs of the office.
- Professional, well-spoken, and friendly demeanor with a positive "can-do" attitude.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new tasks and environments efficiently.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities effectively.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
