Indianapolis, IN Full-time $140,000.00 - $180,000.00Posted 11/21/2024Position OverviewThe Technical Project Manager will oversee and coordinate complex projects within the pharmaceutical industry, ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and adherence to GMP standards. The role focuses on driving automation initiatives and managing control system implementations to enhance operational efficiency.Note: Position is remote/hybrid for first 2 years with travel once a week per month, then by year 3 will be onsite full time Monday-Friday.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage technical projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with industry standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables.Develop and maintain project schedules using tools such as MS Project or Primavera.Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.Facilitate communication between stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding of project goals and requirements.Ensure that all project activities comply with FDA regulations and cGMP guidelines.Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field; Master's degree preferred.5+ years of experience in project management within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry - ok with pharma experience not being recent.Strong knowledge of FDA regulations and GMP practices.Experience with automation and control systems in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment - Emerson Delta V is preferred but open to AB, Siemens, Rockwell, GE etc. (batch-based capital projects preferred as well)Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project or Primavera.Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams.Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in project management.BenefitsCompetitive compensationfull health insurance benefits (medical, dental, vision)401kPTOPaid holidaysCollaborative environmentpositive work cultureGrowth/advancement Much more!For this position you must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
