In certain jurisdictions, CBIZ CPAs operates under its previous name, Mayer Hoffman McCann P.C.Essential Functions and Primary DutiesRegarded as a Subject Matter Expert within business unit and shares knowledgeMake recommendations on internal department proceduresRecognize business opportunities for our clients and for CBIZRelied upon for knowledge of industry trends, identify client issues and conflicts; proactively communicate solution options to management and teamManage staff on engagement deliverables; complete reviews as a member of the final review team to ensure quality control standards are metResponsible for new client development in partnership with upper management; participate in client meetings and presentation and proposal developmentUnderstand client’s Qualified Plan needsSupervise, train and mentor staff; listen and communicate effectivelyWork to develop responsible, trained staff by conducting performance feedback and evaluationsDrive a team environment; demonstrate support of management decisions and builds a positive cultureAdditional responsibilities as assignedQualifications RequiredBachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in Accounting, Finance or relevant field8 years experience in public accounting or related field5 years supervisoryMust have and preserve required licensesAbility to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessaryDemonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externallyProficient use of applicable technologyMust be able to travel based on business needsThe annual salary target for this job in this market is $130,000- $205,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
