The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in construction matters and be poised to dive into challenging cases from day one. Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of construction litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies and support arguments.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and other dispute resolution proceedings.
  • Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes through alternative dispute resolution methods.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on construction-related issues, contracts, and disputes.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to effectively manage cases and meet client needs.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on case developments and strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from top law school.
  • Admission to the state bar (FL) and in good standing.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing construction litigation.
  • Strong litigation skills, including experience with all stages of the litigation process.
  • Deep understanding of construction law, including contracts, liens, bonds, and regulations.
  • Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
