SPECIALTY: OBSTETRICS & GYNECOLOGY LOCATION: ARIZONA JOB TYPE: LOCUM TENENS JOB NUMBER : 44579 DATES: 11/26/2024 to 12/02/2024 (7 AM - 7 AM) . Thereafter, there will be an ongoing need through December. Specific dates TBD. DESCRIPTION: - 24 Hour beeper call. Spit with 1 other Physician. - High risk/Trauma patients will be transferred to Trauma Hospital. - EMR used: MedHost Hospital: 360 deliveries/year. Skills Required: Low-risk pregnancy, to High-risk pregnancy. FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE. OB Ultrasounds - Performance of, interpretation Routine delivery including vaginal, low forceps, decision-making for c-section Complicated delivery including c-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBAC's Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations Office/minor gynecology - IUB, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP Surgical gynecology including open, Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only- tubal ligation, LOA's chronal tubation, Operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's Laser certification REQUIRED: * AZ State license; active, unrestricted. * Board certified - OB/GYN. * Minimum 100 deliveries in the past 24 months * DEA * Covid Vaccination - exceptions * Prefer Clean NPDB & No Malpractice claims in the last 5 years COMPENSATION: * Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience, certifications, housing, and transportation needs, etc.) * Malpractice insurance provided.
