PSI Pax, Inc has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst to support an opportunity for our customer located in Dahlgren, VA.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The PSI Pax Senior Financial Program Analyst positions lead efforts to provide financial analysis and management support to organizations to coordinate and complete all project processes from requirements through delivery. PSI Pax Analysts interface with government clients to perform financial management and analysis in the areas of initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Provide financial and/or accounting support to the activity BFM(s), project leads, and other organizational support elements.
  • Performs managerial/cost accounting, budgeting, funding execution, manpower management, workload, acquisition, document management, system support, and financial analyses to provide efficient allocation and effective utilization of financial resources, making recommendations for improving operations, systems, and reporting.
  • Utilize Navy ERP to perform financial execution functions. Provide support with a variety of management activities, corporate initiatives, special projects, and data calls that could have significant impact on the organization and its business operations.

Qualifications:
  • Six (6) years related experience, with at least four (4) years of experience in one or more of the following: financial audit, analysis, Government travel policy and administration, civilian pay and leave policy and administration, assessing program compliance with Financial Management Regulations (FMR), financial and accounting transactions or program cost analysis. Must have a demonstrated ability to apply current DoD and Navy financial and administrative directives to Navy programs.
  • Excellent proficiency in verbal and oral communication with personnel of all levels.
  • Experience in independently working projects and outstanding management skills.
  • Secret (Interim Clearances acceptable). Candidate selected will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting
