Sr. Manager of Merchandising Operations

Summary: The Senior Manager of Wholesale Merchandise Operations will be the primary contact and coordinator on all major administrative and operational projects within Merchandising. The position will be charged with coordinating this activity both internally and externally for the Merchandising Department. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and maintain strong relationships with internal partners.

Language Ability:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, and percentages.

Responsible for the hiring, mentoring, performance monitoring, and management of assigned personnel/positions.

Hours: 40hr/week
- Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day Merchandising operations, ensuring efficient item data management and quality control in Enable system. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency. Swift resolution of data integrity issues and system errors.
- List/Cost vendor update and review. Deviated contract support
- Coordinate, lead and project manage Return Authorization process quarterly/annually with Merchandising Managers, Vendors, Supply Chain and DC operations
- Debit resolution and management including standardizing OS&D Policy
- Manage SKU level detail on non-merchandise sales programs associated with 3PL growth programs
- Establish and organize monthly New Item Review panel and process. Track the new item performance metrics using GMROI tools, monthly new item sell-through reports to manage SKU lifecycle from launch to retirement and sell-through.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of merchandise assistants and coordinate efforts and project completion for data entry, QC, catalog review processes and ad revenue opportunities. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners in IT, Pricing, and Finance. Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, addressing concerns and driving collaboration.

- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or equivalent professional experience
- 7+ years of experience in wholesale merchandise operations or related roles
- Proven track record of managing successful wholesale partnerships
