Summary
As QuEra continues to grow, we are adding it to its Supply Chain and Manufacturing team! QuEra's first ever Material Handling Specialist will be responsible for proper handling and processing of QuEra's raw components and consumables. This person will own the day-to-day of shipping, receiving, logistics, and inventory management for QuEra sites. The right person for this position will be a self-starter and comfortable working in a dynamic and innovative environment.

QuEra's first ever Material Handling Specialist will be responsible for proper handling and processing of QuEra's raw components and consumables. This person will own the day-to-day of shipping, receiving, logistics, and inventory management for QuEra sites. Responsibilities
- Oversee the day to day receiving items from parcel and freight carriers.
- Accurate barcoding and labeling inbound inventory.
- Processes Purchase Order Receipts in QuEra's ERP.
- Notifies Purchasing when shipments are received damaged or incomplete.
- Tracks Purchase Order receipt dates and notifies Purchasing when deliveries are late.
- Manages QuEra's stock of raw components and consumables.
- Transfers and transacts inventory from our ERP.
- Kit sub-assemblies for our Eng Team.
- Works with Facilities and Safety to properly store sensitive electronic componentry and lab cleaning chemicals.
- Keep warehousing spaces clean and organized.
- Safely packages and ships QuEra's components and finished goods.
- Sets up pick-ups with carriers, which includes creating all relevant shipping paperwork and labels for the shipments.
- Works with the technical team to manage their hardware Kanban system.
- Manages Return Material Authorization (RMA) shipments and receipts of non-conforming components.
- Troubleshoots delays of inbound and outbound shipments with carriers, 3PLs, and custom brokers.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- 6+ years of experience in a warehousing environment, manufacturing experience a plus.
- Experience with inventory, receiving, or pick/pack/ship software, ERP experience a plus.
- Experience with serialization and/or lot tracking of inventory.
- Has worked with 3PLs and/or freight carriers.
- Knowledge of proper packaging and palletizations techniques.
- International shipping experience preferred but not required.
- Experience handling specialized electronic equipment a plus.
- Forklift experience a plus.
- Highschool or GED required. Associate's degree or higher preferred.
- Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 20 lbs. and occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
