BILINGUAL (Spanish) HR MANAGER
LHH has partnered with a manufacturer servicing the residential construction industry in the search for their next Human Resources Manager. The ideal candidate is looking for a hands-on and tactical HR Manager opportunity for their next steps, is bilingual in Spanish, brings 7+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment with 3+ of those years being in HR management positions, is experienced with HRIS systems (preferrably Paylocity) and benefits administration, and has overseen HR for 300+ employees across multiple states. This position will play a key role in shaping a positive work environment, fostering employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with labor regulations.
Compensation: $100k - $105k
Benefits & 401k included
PTO: 15 days + federal holidays
100% onsite with 25% travel to other locations

Responsibilities:
- Lead a small team of HR professionals, championing their professional growth
- Coach, support, and educate leadership on performance management, employee relations, policy conflicts, sourcing, retention efforts, and leadership development
- Partners with management on complex and sensitive matters, including performance improvement plans, corrective actions, employee investigations, and terminations
- Supports the organization by working with the production team to improve performance, employee retention, and team member experience
- Plan and support benefit enrollment processes as well as educate employees and leaders on retirement plans, benefits, health, and wellness initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all benefits-related regulations and manage open enrollment and employee education initiatives
- Support management and administration with short and long-term disability and FMLA processes
- Manage workers' compensation claims, working with employees, managers, and insurance providers to ensure timely reporting and resolution of claims
- Manages FMLA, STD, LTD, ADA and other leaves
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Supports safety through effective policies and training programs, including accident and injury procedures, workers compensation reporting, and reasonable suspicion training
- Evaluate third-party vendor bills and expedite accounting for processing payment
- Administer off-boarding process, including paperwork processing, retirement, employee relations, and departure surveys
- Maintain compliance with confidential records and document retention policies
- Maintain accurate employee records using the company's HRIS, ensuring compliance with all record-keeping requirements
- Leverage the HRIS to produce reports and analyze HR metrics, providing insights to guide decision-making
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of HR management experience within manufacturing
- Demonstrated knowledge of benefits administration, employee relations, HRIS, OSHA, and workers' compensation
- HRIS experience (preferrably Paylocity)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Impeccable interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
