Job Summary:
The HR Generalist will report directly to the Director of Human Resources and oversee daily HR functions, ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices. This role includes responsibilities in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and policy development. The ideal candidate is a skilled problem-solver with a proactive mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to supporting our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Recruitment and Onboarding:
o Manage end-to-end recruitment, including posting positions, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires.
• Employee Relations:
o Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, ensuring timely and professional resolution.
o Maintain accurate employee records and manage the issuance of identification badges, uniforms, and other company items.
• Compliance and Policy Administration:
o Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
o Support the Director of HR in updating the Employee Handbook and conducting regular audits.
• Benefits Administration:
o Coordinate benefits enrollment, address employee inquiries, and support open enrollment processes.
• Performance Management:
o Support the performance review process, including coaching managers and employees on best practices.

Qualifications:
• Education:
o Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Experience:
o 2-3 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role.
• Certification:
o SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification required.
• Skills and Competencies:
o Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
o Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Compensation:
• Starting hourly wage: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
