Corporate Legal Assistant

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
  • Assist attorneys with all aspects of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, entity formation, financing, and securities offerings.
  • Prepare, proofread, edit, and review legal transactional documents
  • Conduct legal research on relevant corporate law issues.
  • Prepare and file corporate documents with state and federal agencies.
  • Manage due diligence processes, including document collection and review.
  • Assist with closing binders and prepare UCC agreements.
  • Perform legal research
  • Maintain accurate and organized corporate records.
  • Assist with attorney timekeeping, billing, expense reports
  • Assist with managing deadlines and closing binders
  • Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other professionals.
Qualifications:
  • Associates, Bachelor Degree or Paralegal certification preferred.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in corporate law.
  • Strong understanding of corporate law principles and practices.
  • Excellent research, writing, and editing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
