The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, entity formation, financing, and securities offerings.
- Prepare, proofread, edit, and review legal transactional documents
- Conduct legal research on relevant corporate law issues.
- Prepare and file corporate documents with state and federal agencies.
- Manage due diligence processes, including document collection and review.
- Assist with closing binders and prepare UCC agreements.
- Perform legal research
- Maintain accurate and organized corporate records.
- Assist with attorney timekeeping, billing, expense reports
- Assist with managing deadlines and closing binders
- Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other professionals.
- Associates, Bachelor Degree or Paralegal certification preferred.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in corporate law.
- Strong understanding of corporate law principles and practices.
- Excellent research, writing, and editing skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
