The role is to drive the overall effectiveness and success of our new business activity across OMG and our global agency brands (OMD, PHD and Hearts & Science). This role is integral to the growth of our business globally and in the US. This fast paced, challenging and dynamic role offers the chance to experience all facets of OMG. The Senior Director will support the execution of our new business efforts, engaging with key partners and senior leaders within the OMG network to understand business context and areas for opportunity for a given client or prospect.This individual will be expected to understand the breadth of OMG’s capabilities as well as their application to prospective clients’ businesses. This person needs to be an engine of new business activity, leading global pitches, supporting regional and local new business teams, maintaining and evolving effective pitch processes, as well as coordinating with senior leaders and new business teams. Responsibilities:Oversee the creation of high-caliber content for RFIs, RFPs and pitch presentationsPitch leadership covering all aspects of the new business process including identifying suitable talent, writing and editing content, and delivering a winning presentation on pitch dayCoordinate pitch approach including managing logisticsReview, edit and provide feedback to pitch team members how to strengthen their content and presentation deliveryFollow and enhance the OMG global new business processes, including following best practices and sharing key learningsAid in development of approach and strategies for key prospectsEstablish strong professional relationships with agency senior leadersWork in close partnership with the agency’s creative services team to develop high-impact, excellent quality presentations and collateralPartner with all required stakeholders (Finance, Investment, etc.) as required, ensuring a lock-step relationship to drive a faultless productSupport with growth and development of junior team membersRequirements: Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, business, or related fieldMinimum 10+ years’ experience in the marketing / advertising industryMust have experience within an agency business development environmentExcellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task and prioritizeHands-on approach to managing both processes and peopleExperience managing and mentoring junior team membersStrategic planning and creative problem-solving skillsAbility to work well under pressure, take direction and constructive criticismAbility to both lead and be part of a teamAbility to anticipate project needs and discern work prioritiesAbility to meet deadlines with little supervisionAbility to keep a positive attitude and provide direction, especially during periods of challenging circumstancesPassion and drive for providing an exceptional product and experiencesHave a cooperative attitude in working with individuals at all agency levelsKnowledge of CRM platforms and industry new business tools (COMvergence, RECMA, etc.)Candidate must be open to travel as needed#LI-JS2This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.Compensation Range$150,000—$180,000 USDThis role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs.
