Slalom's DC OE Practice enables our clients to realize their most strategic initiatives through informed, creative, and tailored solutions that help connect their people, processes, and technologies. Our OE consultants are experienced leaders and savvy collaborators, with expertise in one or more of the following areas:
  • Change Leadership & Adoption
  • Business Process Optimization
  • Organization Design
  • Learning, Talent & Culture


Key OE consultant responsibilities include:
  • Think creatively and innovatively to address complex technical/business problems
  • Champion a compelling point of view in given subject area(s), including best practices and emerging trends
  • Drive clarity from ambiguity, and present thoughtful and comprehensive strategies, recommendations, and plans
  • Pivot from strategy to execution, and back, based on evolving client needs
  • Work across industries and functions
  • Lead and inspire yourself, as well as client and Slalom teams, to deliver against the highest standards of deliverable quality and professional integrity
  • Contribute actively to the growth and evolution of Slalom's DC and National OE Practices

Qualifications:
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of consulting (or comparable internal practitioner) experience in the Technology, Biotech, Financial Services, or Consumer Goods industries
  • Experience leading change and transformation initiatives for global enterprises, large business units, and complex IT environments
  • Demonstrated track record of successful designing, managing, and executing large and complex consulting engagements to transform enterprises, business units, or operating models
  • Ability to establish immediate credibility, build consensus, and achieve goals through influence at the senior executive and front-line employee levels
  • Strong executive presence, facilitation skills, drive for results, attention to quality and detail, and a collaborative attitude
  • Familiarity with software and product development lifecycles, and project or program management principles; and
  • Experience in Change Leadership & Adoption and/or Business Process Optimization
  • Command of change management methodologies, frameworks, and deliverables
  • Experience developing and executing readiness and adoption strategies, including leadership and stakeholder engagement, resistance management, training, communications, and relevant metrics
  • Lean learning and game-based learning
  • Change management analytics platforms
