Shift 1 (United States of America) Position Summary: Build machines, equipment and their subassemblies and following the Mechanical layout and the general assembly layouts and other written and verbal specification. Work You'll Do: Build machines, equipment and their subassemblies and following the Mechanical layout and the general assembly layouts and other written and verbal specification. Recognize problems with designs and parts and take appropriate corrective actions. Recommend improvements for area products and processes. Perform prototype work with limited engineering and supervision. Practice good communication and interact professionally with customers in the plant Learn to produce quality work in a time frame that consistently meets or exceeds the expectation of Team Lead and Group Lead. Communicate any discrepancies or errors on prints, materials list etc. Basic Qualifications: High school diploma/GED required Related education equivalent from a technical school; or 3 to 5 years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrate personal leadership; actively participate in or lead problem solving and continuous improvement efforts. Demonstrate flexibility when confronted with high stress / emergency situations, priority changes, or new assignments. Must be able to read blueprints Experience with Schematics, Hydraulic flow charts, pneumatic knowledge required Basic hand tools, torquing, etc. Preferred qualifications Electrical background preferred but could be taught Experience in scissor lifts, forklifts, Crane operator.
