Senior Project Manager

Looking for variety and technical challenges? We're searching for a forward-thinking Senior Project Manager to play an integral part in a wide range of projects across industrial sectors such as chemical, food/beverage and pharmaceutical manufacturing. This role will provide you with the opportunity to work alongside key stakeholders of local industry-leaders while supporting multi-million dollar CapEx projects. Projects Variety Examples:Designing and executing a facility buildout for a consumer goods manufacturer. Evaluate and propose solutions to a finished good transfer system for a petrochemical plant. Redundancy design to provide ability for frequent cleaning without impacting production time or product quality. Processing building addition, tank farm expansion, and new in-line blending capability for beverage plant. Here's a Taste of What You'll Be Doing:Ensure project deliverables meet TAI and client expectations. Manage all phases of a project - setup, execution, and closeout Develop and maintain project schedules. Provide a single point of contact between TAI and client – getting info from client for the design, providing the client with necessary information and resolving most project issues with the client. Prepare initial budget, tracking overall costs, approving pending invoices, and pursuing change orders as required. Perform overall project quality control. For multi-discipline projects, coordinating budget, schedules, and deliverables with all TAI divisions. Keep the Account Manager informed of significant issues associated with the project. Capable to self-perform within their engineering discipline at or above a Sr. Engineer level. Research and apply applicable industry codes Independently work with code officials and other design professionals when an interpretation or exception to codes is required. Direct and review work of project design team; check progress of work and alert managers to change of scope and additional services.   Direct CAD designers for the preparation of construction drawings.  Coordinate project design with other engineering disciplines. You'll Be a Perfect Fit if You Have:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical is preferred) from an accredited university. Minimum of 10 (ten) years experience as a Project Manager/Engineer OR 15 years of industry experience utilizing consultants.  Prior design experience creating construction documents for industrial, power, oil & gas, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, food & beverage facilities with significant expertise in at least one of the core industries served by TAI.  Minimum of 10 years of experience reviewing and approving PFD’s, P&ID’s, piping orthographic and isometric drawings, bill of materials, equipment and piping specifications. Preferably, knowledge preparing documents Minimum of 10 years of experience performing equipment and piping specifications, valves, sizing pressure relief devices, sizing centrifugal and PD pumps and other process equipment. Preferably, knowledge of sizing and specifying said equipment. Minimum of 10 years of experience self-performing process and/or mechanical engineering for design projects within industrial, chemical, manufacturing, food & beverage markets. Basic understanding of all engineering disciplines with capacity to self-perform process engineering.  Experience with providing Quality Control of construction documents for multiple disciplines Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. Basic knowledge of design and regulatory Codes and Standards. Proficient with Microsoft Office products. Professional Engineer or PMP is a plus. Compensation and benefits offering:Pay: $135k - $175k a year (based on experience) Annual Profit Sharing Bonus (variable depending on firm’s performance, employee performance, and tenure).
