Corporate Controller

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and execute the general accounting activities including accounts payable, payroll and cash management / receivables, ensuring compliance with all necessary rules and laws.
- Work with CFO on Benefits Administration and financial processing
- Manage cash flow on a daily, weekly, monthly basis including cash forecasting and projections
- Prepare and analyze monthly and annual financial statements including all journal entries, and program tracking and analysis spreadsheets
- Bank reconciliations, Inventory reconciliations, Balance Sheet reconciliations and schedule tracking updates
- Participate in analysis of bid proposals, vendor purchase programs and rebates.
- Perform other Financial and support tasks as needed or requested.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- College degree in accounting, MBA preferred
- 10-15 years applicable accounting management experience, preferable in a small business environment
- Advanced Microsoft Excel experience a must
- General accounting software and systems experience required
- Ability to analyze and solve problems, multi-task and work in a consistent manner
- Organization and attention to detail, a positive attitude and ability to communicate effectively to staff
- Good interpersonal communication skills
