Corporate Controller

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and execute the general accounting activities including accounts payable, payroll and cash management / receivables, ensuring compliance with all necessary rules and laws.
  • Work with CFO on Benefits Administration and financial processing
  • Manage cash flow on a daily, weekly, monthly basis including cash forecasting and projections
  • Prepare and analyze monthly and annual financial statements including all journal entries, and program tracking and analysis spreadsheets
  • Bank reconciliations, Inventory reconciliations, Balance Sheet reconciliations and schedule tracking updates
  • Participate in analysis of bid proposals, vendor purchase programs and rebates.
  • Perform other Financial and support tasks as needed or requested.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
  • College degree in accounting, MBA preferred
  • 10-15 years applicable accounting management experience, preferable in a small business environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel experience a must
  • General accounting software and systems experience required
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems, multi-task and work in a consistent manner
  • Organization and attention to detail, a positive attitude and ability to communicate effectively to staff
  • Good interpersonal communication skills
