About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their dynamic team in the cannabis sector. The CFO will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the business. This includes developing and implementing a strategic financial plan to support the company's growth, leading financial operations, and playing a pivotal role in M&A activities, FP&A, forecasting, and investment and funding. The successful candidate will also be tasked with ensuring compliance with financial regulations across multiple states and providing strategic recommendations to the executive management team. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have an MBA or equivalent qualification, with a CPA certification being preferred. A minimum of 12 years' of finance experience, particularly in the cannabis sector, is required. The role demands a professional with proven experience in corporate finance, financial strategy planning, and multi-state financial management. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to develop and maintain relationships with investors, banks, and financial institutions. The CFO will be expected to have in-depth knowledge of financial law, risk management practices, and excellent data analysis and forecasting abilities.
