Small Harness Wire Assembler

*Small Harness Assembler 1st Shift: Mon-Fri, 7am-3:30pm * Small Wire Assembler $15/hour-$17/hour We are looking for 3 associates that can: Assemble cables/harness assemblies, subassemblies, and solder the assemble part(s) together. This associate must be able to products a systems per military or manufacturing specifications/blueprints. Ensures compliance to quality standards on each project or job while maintaining production goals and follow company policy and procedures. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Builds assemblies from oral and/or written (blueprints) work instructions and within established shop floor guidelines. Strips, crimps, solders, screws, bolts, tack welds, or similar operations to secure parts. Positions and aligns parts in a specified relationship to each other in a jig, fixture, or other holding device. Routes wires per drawing or fixture defined in assembly work instructions. Assembles and solder hardware such as caps, clamps, knobs and switches to assemblies. Maintains a clean, safe work environment free of FOD. Receives, verifies and process parts for assemblies by identifying specific part numbers. Wrap, box, bag, and label product per customer requirements. Enter information on production records, logs, and other reports as needed. Review and verify all documentation is current/correct before starting next operation. Familiarize and utilize proper ventilation and safety equipment when using fume producing chemicals and/or products. Requirement · 1-3 years manufacturing experience and/or technical school background, cable and wire harnessing experience preferred. · 1-3 years prior experience in Small Wire Assembling · IPC certification desired but not needed · Ability to read blueprints Education: High school diploma or GED required.
