UX Writer
Who You'll Work With

What You'll Do
• Partner with the foundational services team (PMs, UX design, technologists, etc.) to refresh UI copy across multiple stakeholder groups and support the evaluation/testing of content.
• Identify, experiment, write and refine UX writing based on defined priorities
• Ensure key products and experiences are launched on time
• Act with limited oversight to drive UX writing solutions, advocating for clarity for customers solutions while keeping in mind business goals and engaging multiple partners and stakeholders
• Follow AB UX writing best practices and design system writing guidelines when developing content designs
• Handle multiple rounds of content review and edits by partners and stakeholders, and present recommendations and content to stakeholders
• Track and communicate work progress to partners/stakeholders
• Problem definition and identifying requirements based on customer needs in collaboration with research
• Facilitate alignment between and with stakeholders with regards to messaging and content design
• Synthesize large amounts of input, both qualitative and quantitative research, to generate thoughtful output
• Provide thought leadership on behalf of the central UX org, display backbone when requirements are not customer focused
• Schedule and lead meetings, as needed
• Present work to stakeholders, as needed
What You'll Bring
• 5+ years UX writing, providing user experience writing expertise
• Experience crafting clear, concise UI text for in-product experience on desktop and mobile
• Strong communication skills, ability to effectively tailor communication to a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base pay range is $70/hour to $80/hour. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
