Responsibilities:
  • Support leadership by coaching management on employee issues, applicable labor laws, and practice policies and procedures.
  • Perform high-demand administrative as well as general HR duties.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the business strategy.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of weekly payroll, including salaries and benefits.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
  • Foster a positive working environment by promoting open communication, teamwork, and employee engagement.
  • Administer and manage employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Offer HR and Payroll support to multiple sites in CA, TX, AZ, NV, CO
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation to ensure compliance.
  • Handle payroll updates, including new hires, terminations, and pay rate changes.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
  • Coordinate with the Safety Manager on OSHA compliance and workplace safety.

Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience as an HR Manager
  • Construction, Manufacturing or related industry experience a must
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, functions, best practices, and regulations
  • Multi-state HR and Payroll experience
  • Experience with payroll systems, certified payroll preferred
  • Associate degree preferred
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus
  • Excellent conflict management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collect and analyze data to drive HR initiatives
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
