ABOUT THE POSITION
The FM Contracts manager is the lead representative working directly with the US Property + Operations team and venue facilities managers across managed assets across the North American portfolio. There are 19 venues in the North American Portfolio across seven states and growing. The asset types are theatrical venues, music venues and small office buildings.

PEOPLE, PLACES, and THINGS
- Contract Development and Management - developing and managing contracts, including supplier/vendor negotiations and ensuring compliance with procurement laws and regulations.
- Strategic Procurement - developing procurement strategies in collaboration with stakeholders and conducting market and financial analysis to obtain goods and services at the highest quality and lowest cost.
- Supplier and Vendor Management - lead supplier negotiations, engages suppliers for timely resolution of issues, and conducts quarterly business reviews to identify potential financial and procedural improvements.
- Customer Service and Collaboration - providing consultation to internal and external customers, the manager collaborates with various department heads and clinicians to create a competitive sourcing environment.
- Cost Reduction Initiatives - identifying and developing cost reduction initiatives, the manager presents business cases with data analysis and implements alternative strategies for cost savings illustrating value for money
- Contract Compliance and Monitoring - measuring and monitoring contract compliance, supplier performance, and ensuring accuracy of price and product information associated with contracted items.
- Facilities Procurement and Vendor Qualification - supporting facilities procurement strategies, synthesizes new suppliers through market research, and conducts vendor qualification processes to ensure compliance with industry requirements.
- Sustainability - research, develop and introduce a sustainability program with internal stakeholders. Roll out to venues at a later date.

- This position reports to the US Director of Properties + Operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 - 10 years management experience of a multi-site property portfolio.
- General knowledge of all construction phases and local building and safety codes
- Must be able to read drawings
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, air conditioning and F&B equipment
- Possess a strong knowledge and operation skill switch life safety systems (wet and dry) fire pumps and controls
- Knowledge of building management systems ad work order software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to quickly identify and resolve problems
- Experience in personnel management
