Join Audio & Media Technologies (AMT) group which provides the media and graphics foundation across all of Apple's creative products, including iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, iTunes, and macOS.DescriptionWe are looking for Quality Engineering Manager who can lead and support an excellent team of inquisitive & fun-loving Quality Automation Engineers who are excited to test and qualify the AirPlay & Whole Home Audio features in AMT. Leader who has expertise in Python/Swift or other programming languages is needed to come up with innovative testing & automation solutions. Experience in dealing with changing priorities, balancing workload and deliver high quality products and features is a must. You will work very closely with development and cross-functional teams to ensure AirPlay quality and performance is of the highest level on iPhone, Mac, Apple TV, HomePods along with other third party speakers & TVs that support AirPlay.Minimum QualificationsBS in CS/CE/EE or equivalent experienceMust have experience in successfully managing and leading a technical team with superb written and social skillsProficient at test planning and automation strategyExperience in building and/or maintaining automation frameworkExceptional skills in hands on coding with pythonExcellent skills in reporting/summarizing test results and escalationsPreferred QualificationsExperience in Swift/XCTestKnowledge in bug tracking toolsExperience in Jenkins or similar automation server solutionsExperience in git or other version control systemsCritical thinking on priorities and team collaborationPay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $164,200 and $285,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
