Qualifications
Qualified candidates will have a BSCE degree, Arizona Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer and a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in land development and/or public works; or the equivalent work experience of eight (8) years in the industry. Qualified candidates will also have a minimum of four (4) years of supervising the work of engineers, designers, and other project support staff.

Candidates for this position must demonstrate:
- Site assessment, the ability to perform engineering design studies (incorporating infrastructure requirements and potential regulatory issues);
- Ability to evaluate and grade a Project Site independently with no guidance from other team members; Analyze site hydrology and make design decisions independently with no guidance from other team members;
- Ability to perform constructability reviews;
- Experience with a range of construction support services;
- Ability to effectively communicate design decisions and concepts to design staff for plan and report execution.
Must have knowledge of:
- Jurisdictional codes, standards & procedures within the Phoenix Valley and surrounding regions (Arizona specific).
Additional Skills:
- Accepts and responds appropriately to constructive feedback from others and applies seasoned time management;
- Relates well and maintains a high level of respect and confidence from co-workers in public agencies;
- Demonstrates a high level of competence in written and oral communication;
- Ability to prepare exhibits and other visuals for clear and impactful communication with clients and staff;
AutoCAD and Bluebeam experience is required.
