We have an exciting opportunity open for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner based in our Little Rock, AR office with the option to work hybrid.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior HR Business Partner is a strategic and influential associate working to establish and maintain alignment between the operations of the business and HR policies, practices, and objectives. A strong understanding of the role of HR functional and business support is critical. That knowledge combined with the ability to understand the business's strategy while providing dynamic HR solutions using experience, data analyses, and organizational agility should guide decision making in this role. Using functional HR knowledge and experience, the Senior HR Business Partner provides consulting and coaching guidance to assigned departments within the organization in support of the company's mission, vision, values, and overall objectives. The successful individual in this role will be service oriented and proactive on all projects, assignments and in all interactions with clients.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, and conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations that support recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Proactively partner with assigned businesses and provide creative and strategic HR support aimed at problem solving and facilitating business objectives.
  • Understanding of the full employee lifecycle and applies that understanding to craft integrated solutions that are well thought out.
  • Solutions-focused and comfortable working in an environment requiring strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions.
  • Operate with autonomy and discretion, make accurate assessments, arrive at a decision, and make recommendations with consideration for the HR business model that is in place.
  • Agility to manage between implementing HR functional initiatives within the business and successfully monitoring the "pulse" of employees while ensuring, and promoting, a high level of employee engagement.
  • Support content development and deliver training in conjunction with the Learning and Development team.
  • Effectively communicate (orally and in writing) with all levels of leadership, and in working with the legal department to ensure all HR practices fall within the acceptable parameters of established federal, state, and local regulations, along with established company processes and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in applicable fields is required
  • 5 or more years of experience in a client-facing HR Business Partner role required
  • Experience supporting a mix of corporate and industrial field-based roles preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
  • Knowledgeable in the major functional areas of Human Resources including HR compliance, employment law, employee relations, employee development, compensation, benefits, diversity and inclusion, and performance planning and management.
  • Knowledgeable in the key objectives and responsibilities of an HRBP including management and support, strategy, recruiting/talent sourcing, position management, collaboration, and analytics.
  • Knowledgeable in the processes for conflict resolution, mediation, and meeting facilitation.
  • Ability to conduct investigations and complete associated reports of findings (i.e., EEOC, Discrimination, Sexual Harassment).
  • Penchant for anticipating outcomes in a variety of situations.
  • Ability to self-direct while being agile and effective at managing competing priorities.
  • Must be able to build strong relationships and establish credibility as a trustworthy business partner.
  • Capable of discerning when it's appropriate to share information, what information to share, and with whom.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy while delivering timely results.
  • Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, listening and ability to make effective presentations.
