The Leidos National Security Sector is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Deputy Program Manager for a medium-sized government contract focused on learning and professional development. This role is critical in supporting contractors to ensure they meet client objectives and achieve program KPIs.
As the Deputy Program Manager, you will collaborate with contractors, government stakeholders, and project teams to oversee the development and execution of training programs. The primary focus will be to ensure that all initiatives align with client requirements and program performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
Pay Range: Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00

As the Deputy Program Manager, you will collaborate with contractors, government stakeholders, and project teams to oversee the development and execution of training programs. The primary focus will be to ensure that all initiatives align with client requirements and program performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and deliver high-level instructional design work and project management for the client.
- Support Contractors: Work closely with contractors to ensure compliance with client objectives and program requirements, facilitating communication and resource allocation.
- Monitor Program Performance: Track and analyze program KPIs, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with Stakeholders: Liaise with government stakeholders to understand expectations, address concerns, and align program initiatives with broader organizational goals.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes to ensure that training materials and delivery methods meet industry standards and contractual obligations.
- Conduct Gap Analyses: Identify areas for improvement by evaluating current training programs and making recommendations to address performance gaps.
- Facilitate Training Development: Assist in the design and development of training programs, ensuring they meet the specific needs of contractors and align with client objectives.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks to program success and develop mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery of services.
- Reporting: Prepare and present reports on program progress, performance metrics, and contractor performance to senior management and stakeholders.
- Active TS/SCI with poly
- 5+ years of experience in project management, learning and development, or related fields, preferably within the government sector.
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus with 2+ years of experien.
- Proven experience managing projects and working with government clients to achieve project objectives.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to track and report on KPIs effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with training methodologies and instructional design principles.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of government contracting processes and compliance standards.
- Experience in risk assessment and mitigation strategies in a program management context.
- Experience in an Agile environment and ability to adapt to changing program requirements.
