Role Purpose:
Responsible for the active management of technical teams performing planned and unplanned maintenance that increase equipment availability, maintain design speed, reduce scrap, a meets throughput. The supervisor will be the primary coach for the execution of the cohesive, safety Oriented, daily team efforts that promotes efficient performance and preventive maintenance and repairs in the most economical method and with the shortest duration possible.

Accountabilities & Impact:
- Supervises and coordinates maintenance crews for a 24/7 operation; includes facility, packaging line, brewery, and LVG maintenance.
- Actively mentor, coach, and hold accountable maintenance team members as it relates to safety, quality, productivity, continuous improvement, and team harmony.
- Effectively communicate job knowledge and process changes to maintenance team members and management through various forms of daily communication (shift handover meeting, daily production meetings, email, action logs, work orders, etc.).
- Manages team members time and attendance, including schedules, timecards approval, time-off approval, and adherence to No-Fault Attendance Policy.
- Clearly communicates work expectations, and then follows up to appraise quality and thoroughness of work assignment.
- Monitors work in progress to ensure that food safe maintenance and sanitary procedures are used.
- Appraises team member work contributions to both recognize above and beyond performance and discipline team members when necessary.
- Develops maintenance tech skills sets through OJT and cross-training.
- Reviews individual scheduled work assignments to ensure maintenance techs understand what needs to be done, so that they perform the work safely, on-time, and thoroughly.
- Validates through measurement that line performance is improved post maintenance action.
- Ensures shop and work area cleanliness, organization, and tool control.
- Ensures that assigned maintenance crews react quickly and appropriately to urgent calls.
- Supervises team execution during critical, complex overhaul or repair activities to ensure positive return of the plant functions.
- High School diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University preferred (Engineering or related field of study).
- 2-6 years of experience in a Maintenance Management role within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of TPM / Maintenance Excellence programs including Asset Management, Breakdown Analysis, FMEA, and Reliability Centered Maintenance
- Ability to analyze machine trends and deploy team members to improve daily production outcomes
- Excellent understanding of continuous flow processes and high-speed manufacturing equipment operation, engineering and upkeep.
