StyleCraft is a group of local, family owned companies. Our Mission is to Create Communities that Inspire People to Live Up. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated, full time Controller to join our team to oversee financial operations.

The Controller will play a critical role in managing the financial health of our company. You will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting that will support decision-making. This role will involve managing financial records, the accounting team, and processes, while working closely with operations management and other departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial & Cost Accounting Reporting to industry and GAAP standards.
  • Develop & implement policy/procedures/internal controls and ensure adherence.
  • Budget setting/monitoring.
  • Compliance with regulatory agencies.
  • Tax (Real estate/property/income).
  • Cash Flow Projections (short and medium term) and Bank Loans.
  • Month/Quarter/Year end close process.
  • Manage Accounting team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required. Masters, CPA or other professional certification preferred.
  • 10 years professional accounting experience with at least 3 years at the Controller level.
  • Previous experience managing/leading teams effectively.
  • Requires a strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications, specifically MS Excel; ERP systems.
  • Demonstrate a high level of communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess strong cost accounting, auditing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in construction or real estate is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Proven experience in internal control, budgeting, and audit procedures.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
