StyleCraft is a group of local, family owned companies. Our Mission is to Create Communities that Inspire People to Live Up. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated, full time Controller to join our team to oversee financial operations.
The Controller will play a critical role in managing the financial health of our company. You will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting that will support decision-making. This role will involve managing financial records, the accounting team, and processes, while working closely with operations management and other departments.
Responsibilities:
- Financial & Cost Accounting Reporting to industry and GAAP standards.
- Develop & implement policy/procedures/internal controls and ensure adherence.
- Budget setting/monitoring.
- Compliance with regulatory agencies.
- Tax (Real estate/property/income).
- Cash Flow Projections (short and medium term) and Bank Loans.
- Month/Quarter/Year end close process.
- Manage Accounting team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required. Masters, CPA or other professional certification preferred.
- 10 years professional accounting experience with at least 3 years at the Controller level.
- Previous experience managing/leading teams effectively.
- Requires a strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications, specifically MS Excel; ERP systems.
- Demonstrate a high level of communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-directed with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess strong cost accounting, auditing, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in construction or real estate is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Proven experience in internal control, budgeting, and audit procedures.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
