Controller
to join our team to oversee financial operations.
The
Controller
will play a critical role in managing the financial health of our company. You will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting that will support decision-making. This role will involve managing financial records, the accounting team, and processes, while working closely with operations management and other departments.
Responsibilities:
Financial & Cost Accounting Reporting to industry and GAAP standards. Develop & implement policy/procedures/internal controls and ensure adherence. Budget setting/monitoring. Compliance with regulatory agencies. Tax (Real estate/property/income). Cash Flow Projections (short and medium term) and Bank Loans. Month/Quarter/Year end close process. Manage Accounting team. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required. Masters, CPA or other professional certification preferred. 10 years professional accounting experience with at least 3 years at the Controller level. Previous experience managing/leading teams effectively. Requires a strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications, specifically MS Excel; ERP systems. Demonstrate a high level of communication and interpersonal skills. Self-directed with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced environment. Possess strong cost accounting, auditing, and problem-solving skills. Experience in construction or real estate is highly desirable. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements. Proven experience in internal control, budgeting, and audit procedures. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
