With destinations like Boston, New York, the seacoast, and ski country within driving distance, New Hampshire is the ideal place to work and play.We are seeking one part-time and one full-time Audiologist to support our adult patient population.AuD or Masters Degree in Audiology is required, as well as an active and current audiology license for the State of New Hampshire.Position Highlights:

  • Full diagnostic audiology for adults
  • Experience with hearing aides and implants preferred
  • Participation in teaching and research projects as well as program development
  • Academic appointment with Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth to be requested
The ideal candidate will also possess the following:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills which include the ability to thoroughly and effectively counsel patients and their families while building patient rapport
  • Excellent written skills
  • The ability to work in a very collaborative, team environment
  • The ability to interact professionally at all times with patients, providers and other team members

The Audiology Section at DH provides a range of diagnostic and amplification/management options for all ages and works closely with Otolaryngology/Otology. Various behavioral hearing tests and auditory physiologic measures are performed, including sedated and unsedated ABR, as well as OAEs, VNGs, VHITs, VEMPs and ECOGs. Our aural rehabilitation services include hearing aid dispensing, cochlear implant management, osseointegrated technologies and hearing assistive technology (HAT).
