Job Description:
Mount Holyoke College is seeking a forward-looking and hands-on Manager of Endpoint Services to lead a high-performing team of technical experts as they work collaboratively to deliver reliable, secure technology services, enabling a diverse college community to thrive.
A strong leader, you'll collaborate at all levels, drawing on your technical expertise
and experience to help your team solve complex problems, using community connections and best practices to ensure endpoint services are meeting campus needs.
You'll be at the forefront of evolving our endpoint services ecosystem, leveraging recent technology investments in tools like Workday, TeamDynamix and iPaaS to drive operational improvements, re-imagine service delivery and implement next-gen solutions.
Team & Operations Management:
Provide leadership and coaching to a team of technical experts. Define and track progress for team goals. Develop technical strategies/roadmaps. Establish policies, procedures and practices to ensure services are effective, reliable, secure and service delivery is sustainable.
Endpoint Services and Information Security:
Responsible for security and availability of endpoint devices. Oversee implementation strategy for patch management, endpoint security, endpoint architecture. Actively engage in work of the Information Security team. Ensure compliance with regulations, vendor agreements and software licenses.
Hardware/Software Asset Lifecycle Management:
Responsible for hardware and software asset management programs (faculty, staff, and computer labs). Develop, implement and maintain computer purchasing policies and procedures. Contribute to the administration of college technology platforms such as M365/Intune, Adobe Console, Google, etc.
Stay informed on evolving technology needs and trends with regular professional development and training. Use community connections to understand changing campus needs
Essential Qualifications:
Strong leadership skills; desire to coach and mentor team members.
Endpoint management/desktop support expert (Mac/Windows, Linux helpful).
M365 administration (Entra/AD, Intune/Defender/Autopilot, Group policy) helpful.
Adept problem solver who can bring people together to solve technology problems and lead technology projects.
Combination of any of the following (or willingness to learn/ability to become certified)
Microsoft: Endpoint Administrator Associate or M365 Administration
Apple School Manager, Jamf, Keyserver AllSight
IAITAM: CSAM/CAMP/CHAMP (or similar)
HDI Desktop Support Manager
A+ / Sec+/ Network+
Service-oriented professional with the ability to convey technical information to a non-technical audience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a higher education or non-profit environment.
Process improvement and policy/procedure development.
Understanding of ITSM/ITIL© concepts
Experience with Workday (HCM/FIN), Teamdynamix or iPaaS
Hiring Range: $91,617 - $107,820
