A&B Animal Clinic is seeking a Managing Veterinarian/Medical Director:

We are seeking a Veterinarian with leadership experience to join our highly skilled team OR an experienced Veterinarian who is eager to transition into a hospital leadership role. The ideal candidate is a strong leader, good with clients, confident, hardworking, an effective communicator, and collaborates with our team members to provide the highest quality care to our patients. This Medical Director position is unique in that the Veterinarian will manage their own medical caseload and practice with medications of their choice, while partnering with a Hospital Manager to run the team and manage the site.

  • Store Front Location with 2900 sq ft, 4 exam rooms, surgical suite, dual wet tables, break room, doctor office, and separate staff restrooms

About the Medical Director Role:

We are looking for a Medical Director to join our team, where you will help make a difference in the lives of pets, clients, and the team. You will be a leader in the practice, taking pride in offering unmatched compassionate, high-quality care while ensuring our communication with our clients is clear and understood. They will partner with the practice manager in leadership, patient care, staff mentorship, and development while meeting the financial goals of the practice. We have a team of highly trained support staff with exotic experience ready to assist you. Every team member is committed to furthering their skills and knowledge by remaining open to new ideas and practices. The hospital sees a variety of cases, from wellness visits to sophisticated workups. Our clientele is kind and expects high-quality medicine and comprehensive medical recommendations.
  • Experience and interest in a leading medical and financial growth
  • Must have DVM OR VMD from an AVMA-accredited institution.
  • License to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Texas, or able to attain one and be in good standing.
  • DEA licensure
