About the Role
The Company is seeking a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to serve as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for its not-for-profit agency. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the organization's financial resources in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. This includes overseeing all aspects of fiscal management and providing strategic financial leadership. The CFO will be a key financial liaison, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and engaging with the Corporate Board of Directors, funding sources, and financial institutions. Duties encompass audits, budgeting, contracts, cash flow management, forecasting, strategic analysis, cost allocations, internal controls, and supervising the financial management team. Applicants must have a CPA license, a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and a minimum of 10 years' current experience. A strong background in financial management, particularly in the areas of managed care, non-profit/cost accounting, and federal funding, is preferred. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in financial oversight, including investments, financial statements, and tax reporting. The CFO will also be responsible for maintaining proper internal controls to safeguard the organization's assets and ensure compliance with all financial policies and procedures.
