About the Role

The Company is in need of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a strong background in non-profit financial management. The CFO will work closely with the CEO to lead the organization towards its long-term goals, ensuring a strategic financial plan is in place. This executive will be responsible for overseeing the financial, accounting, and IT departments, directing all financial activities, and preparing and presenting financial statements. The role also involves financial analysis, budget maintenance, and the establishment of financial policies and controls. The CFO will manage the organization's treasury function, IT, tangible assets, and will be expected to participate in activities that further the company's mission within the community. Applicants for the CFO position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with at least 5 years' experience as a Controller or in a more senior financial role. A strong knowledge of US GAAP, proven leadership experience, and a background in the non-profit industry are essential. The successful candidate will be adept at financial reporting and analysis, and have the ability to manage risk and ensure compliance with financial regulations. The role requires a strategic thinker who can align financial management with the company's mission and values.
