About the Role
The Company is seeking an Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. The Interim CFO will be responsible for driving the organization's financial planning, performing risk management, and making strategic decisions regarding investments. This role also involves overseeing the company's fundraising plans, ensuring appropriate cash flow for operations, and supervising all finance personnel. The Interim CFO will be expected to manage vendor relationships, prepare reliable financial reports, and ensure compliance with legal and company policies. A key aspect of the position is to set up and oversee the company's finance IT system. Applicants for the Interim CFO position at the company should have a proven track record in a similar role, with in-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices. Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting methods, and financial management software is essential. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, and be adept at problem-solving. A CPA is a strong advantage, and a BSc/BA in accounting, finance, or a related field is required, with an MSc/MBA being a plus. The Interim CFO will be expected to lead a team of financial controllers and analysts, so experience in team management is also necessary.
