About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a contract role. The CFO will be tasked with the oversight of all financial operations, providing leadership in financial reporting, and ensuring the company's financial health. Key responsibilities include leading the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports in compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards, overseeing the year-end financial closing process, and leading the financial planning and analysis function. The successful candidate will be expected to leverage their experience in mid-market organizations to implement best practices, improve financial processes, and drive profitable growth. A deep understanding of manufacturing operations, cost structures, and financial performance metrics is essential for this role. The ideal CFO for this contract position at the company will have a hands-on approach to managing day-to-day financial operations, including treasury, cash flow management, and cost control initiatives. They will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to develop and execute long-term financial strategies that support the company's growth objectives. The role also involves identifying and mitigating financial risks through effective internal controls, audits, and compliance initiatives. Applicants for the CFO position should have a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with an MBA or CPA preferred. A minimum of 10 years' experience as a CFO in the manufacturing industry, extensive knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes, and a strong understanding of manufacturing cost structures and key financial metrics are required. The candidate should possess exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills, and have experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in financial software.
