The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in roadway design and multimodal transportation systems, playing a crucial role in ensuring safe and efficient transportation solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage transportation engineering projects from concept through construction.Conduct roadway design, including geometric design, drainage, and signal design.Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microstation for design purposes.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including MUTCD guidelines.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex projects involving bikeways, pedestrian pathways, and stormwater management.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns.Review and approve design documents, reports, and construction plans.Engage with stakeholders, including public agencies and community groups, to gather input and provide project updates.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.Minimum of 10 years of experience in transportation engineering and roadway design.Proficient in CAD software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microstation.Experience with design software such as Geopak and Inroads.Strong knowledge of stormwater management practices, HydroCAD, and hydroflow principles.Familiarity with multimodal transportation planning and design, including bike and pedestrian facilities.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Benefits- Competitive Salary Ranges - Hybrid Work Schedule - Medical, Dental, Vision- 401 (k) Matching- Upward mobility- Work on award winning projects - & so much more! For this position you must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
