This team supports global customers from research and development through to manufacturing. The LCD organization is supported by more than 1400 employees globally across 7 locations. LCD is organized into two distinct business units that focus on delivering reagents to support chemical synthesis (Fine Chemical Products Business Unit) and chemical analysis and purification (Laboratory Analytical Reagents Business Unit).What will you do?The PPI Business Systems Leader supports the development and implementation of a PPI strategy for the Laboratory Chemicals Division (LCD) that delivers a continuous improvement culture and achieves aspirational growth through improved customer experience.As part of the Program Management, Strategy and PPI team this role will be key in establishing and maintaining positive relationships with both external and internal customers and key partners through impactful and customer centric ways of working. Therefore, the ability to work cross-functionally in a matrixed organization will be critical to the success of the role and the Laboratory Chemicals Division.To be considered for this role, you will have a track record of delivering change through continuous improvement (PPI),Equally vital will be an ability to think strategically and the skills to translate strategy to deployment, combined with the achieve business growth through targeted activity.The incumbent will have a history of using financial know-how to achieve positive outcomes.Responsibilities: Division Level Continuous Improvement LeaderLeader of a team of 5 direct reportsStrong communicator able to share ideas and gain engagement.Recognized as a capable leader of teams.Able to collaborates well with cross functional teams in a matrix environment.Proven savvy in commercial strategies and comprehensive knowledge of the business landscape.Capable of thinking strategically and seeing the ‘bigger picture’.Proficient in translating commercial strategies into operational/functional strategy that drives growth.Able to work in a sophisticated and ambiguous environment to establish efficient and aligned high level plans.Proven track record to operationalize strategy through tools and standards.Supports project management teams during the planning, execution, and control phases, ensuring timely and within-budget project deployment.Capable of implementing lean culture and project deployment tools across the organization through training and engagement initiatives.Able to inspire change in both people and processes to achieve desired results.Coordinates division’s performance management framework, collaborating with functions and site management to measure performance and align with divisional and company goals. Ex. TDMLeads issues that are potential roadblocks for the commercial strategy team.Delivers divisional and corporate productivity targets.Assesses cross functional satisfaction and recommends future strategy and actions to ensure the overall success of the process and outcomesHow will you get here?Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, supply chain, operations or business preferred.Minimum of 10+ years in an operations/manufacturing leadership role.Capable of thinking strategically and seeing the ‘bigger picture’.Strong communicator able to share ideas and gain engagement.Recognized as an outstanding leader of teams, this the ability to influence and empower.Excellent customer management capable of operating in a matrix environmentGood financial skill, commercial awareness, and business knowledgeWilling and able to embrace technology to accelerate growth.We provide a comprehensive compensation package, including salary, an annual incentive bonus plan, 401K with company match up to 6%, tuition reimbursement, and a range of other employee benefits!
